Four Seasons Hires New CMO, Ruth Thomson, DO, MBA, HMDC, FACOI, FAAHPM

Four Seasons, the Care You Trust is pleased to announce our new Chief Medical Officer, Ruth Thomson, DO, MBA, HMDC, FACOI, FAAHPM.

Dr. Thomson brings more than 20 years of hospice and palliative care experience to her role of Chief Medical Officer at Four Seasons. She is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and Hospice Medical Director Certification. Dr. Thomson embraces both patient care and clinical leadership and is highly skilled in hospice regulations and team building.

Dedicated to volunteerism and advocacy in the field, Dr. Thomson has served on the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) Public Policy Committee and Board of Directors. She also is committed to increasing access to hospice and palliative care for underserved populations. She currently serves on the Four Seasons Health Equity, Ethics, Diversity, and Inclusion (HEEDI) Steering Committee and the AAHPM Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.
