Four Seasons, The Care You Trust and our community partners are honored to present an information session called Age Well Buncombe, all about support services and resources to help you or your loved one age in place. What does “aging in place” mean?
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) explains it: “Many people want the same things as they get older: to stay in their own homes, to maintain independence for as long as possible, and to turn to family and friends for help when needed. Staying in your own home as you get older is called ‘aging in place.’ But many older adults and their families have concerns about safety, getting around, or other daily activities. Living at home as you age requires careful consideration and planning.”
Join us May 20 at the East Asheville Library for Information, a Panel Discussion, Giveaways, REFRESHMENTS, FREE BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING, and an opportunity to ask questions about how to age in place.
Remember that the best time to plan for this is before you or your loved one need this care!
What an excellent panel discussion we had on May 20. Stay tuned for more Age Well events.
