Four Seasons Designated Best Place to Work for Fourth Year in a Row

For the fourth year in a row, Four Seasons, The Care You Trust, was selected as one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare. Four Seasons is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization providing Care Navigation, Home Care, Palliative Care, Hospice Care, Pediatric Palliative and Hospice Care, and Grief Services to fourteen counties in Western North Carolina. Four Seasons has received this award five times in total, receiving the honor in 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025, and now in 2026. We did not participate in the 2022 awards.

Four Seasons Hospice Applies for Certificate of Need in Haywood County

Four Seasons Hospice is applying for the Certificate of Need (CON) in Haywood County. As a nonprofit organization, Four Seasons provides hospice care to patients wherever they call home in Haywood County.
Four Seasons has been successfully providing hospice services in western North Carolina since 1979 and while they are the largest provider of hospice services in Haywood County, they do not have a CON and therefore are not currently permitted to have an office to serve patients in the county.
A CON is a state-level regulatory tool that requires healthcare providers to obtain approval from a state agency before building new facilities, expanding services, or purchasing major medical equipment.
